The light from the rising sun illuminated the mist-filled air that blanketed the village green. In all, seventy men stood silhouetted against the rolling countryside.Although heavily outnumbered, this small group of men courageously took America's first step towards freedom from the rising tyranny of the British Empire. Two hundred and twenty-five years later, we are all still living free from governmental oppression and hold fast to the ideals and traditions that Independence Day represents...
